Matrix™ 0.5ml and 1.0mL ScrewTop Tubes in Barcoded Latch Racks

Securely store samples at low temperatures, including vapor phase Liquid Nitrogen with Thermo Scientific™ Matrix™ 1.0mL ScrewTop Tubes in barcoded latch racks. Tubes are molded from medical grade resins and feature a permanent, high contrast linear (1D) and 2D barcode. These tubes are packed in our Barcoded Latch Racks that feature a 1D barcode, 2D barcode and human readable rack identification on three sides of the rack. Use in combination with Thermo Scientific barcode readers, arrayers and capping equipment. The 2D screwtop tubes meet a range of manual and automated long term storage needs; barcoded racks make it easy to track the rack as well.

VisionMate™ Wireless Barcode Reader

The Thermo Scientific™ VisionMate™ Wireless Barcode Reader is a versatile sample tracking instrument that decodes 2D and linear barcodes and QR codes. The wireless reader utilizes Bluetooth™ technology to allow mobility in the lab, cold room or in the field to yield efficient sample identification and tracking, and for direct input into a paired workstation, LIMS or portable device. The VisionMate wireless reader is capable of reading any barcode of ANSI Grade D or better including Thermo Scientific linear and 2D barcodes and those of most major manufacturers, making it well suited for multi-facility applications.

Matrix™ 8-Channel Screw Cap Decapper

Process a full rack of Thermo Scientific™ Matrix™ tubes in less than one minute with this ergonomic, manual capper/decapper. The Thermo Scientific™ 8-Channel Screw Cap Capper/Decapper is designed to cap tubes to the optimal torque to maintain sample integrity and prevent sample loss during storage. The 8-channel Capper/Decapper is a practical addition to benchtop processing of screw top storage tubes.
